Hello!
(Update Aug 21, 2011) I thought I better put this in my profile. I just got a new job that requires me to be gone over seas three months at a time, so I just want folks to know that I will be gone a lot. Three months on three months off. Might sound like a strange job but the money is decent. So I hope this doesn't discourage you!
Just want to say thank you for reading my profile, and bear with me, I will try to be brief! (Yeah right!) Sorry for my lack of smiles on my photos but it seems that every time a camera is around I have to look tough. And I promise I'm not smiling because I have some teeth missing, no I have all my teeth! LOL! And that old Marine picture I'm not smiling because I'm standing in my underwear during the photo shoot!
Me thinks this will be an I, I, I, description. I love to read, to go camping, to have intellectual conversations. As it says above I'm single, have been for a while, I have never been married. I'm looking for a lady who is serious about a future relationship, no one night fling or game playing. The clock is ticking and we are not getting younger, so I know people my age may have children, and I'm fine with that. I do not have any children, so if you do, that's cool.
I consider myself a very outgoing person. I love to have Intellectual conversations (Well, when I say "Intellectual" I mean other than the norm that society asks for. A step above and beyond the realm of boring? LOL!) I love to ponder on life's great mysteries. I give a rat's ass about things, and I notice the small things in life. Most people take for granted the things they have. It becomes non-important as they are calloused to society. They become sheep. (Baaaaa....) I strive to learn more on my free time. I'm looking for a serious person to spend my life with. We all have to play the hand of cards that are dealt to us. I'm really laid back, and I seem not to worry about most things, so no drama here with me. I would also like to let you know that when I say one thing or the other, I don't lie about who or what I'am. No point in doing that, when the truth will come out sooner or later. Honesty is very much needed in any relationship and starting it off by lying on a simple personals add defeats any purpose right?

I do have a car, and a van, actually a 7 passenger Plymouth voyager, great to take camping! I spent four years in the Marines right after high school where I was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years. Since then I have been doing the social norm of working and existing in this strange world, seeking the meaning of true nirvana. Wondering how simple decisions affect the whole outcome of life, and how we play a big part of its effects not knowing that we do.
One of my hobbies is to study Theology on my own, so I know a little about most religions. I just like to have productive religious conversations at times. Its a curious world these days, and there are more questions out here than answers it seems. I'm continuously seeking the answers myself but it would be easier with someone else. I used to draw a lot when I was younger but was never too good at it, or at least that was my opinion.
I love the outdoors very much. I go camping every chance I get. But mostly I love the walks through the woods and just being with nature. I'm a sucker for Native American lore. I study Bushcraft and primitive survival skills in my free time. I love to watch movies, but don't like much TV. (Sounds strange but its true I love movies, but hardly watch sitcoms or game shows and such) Anyway there is a little about me. If you wish to know more, feel free to ask!
